45th Anniversary

Fun celebrating our anniversary.  We went up Calgary Tower for lunch.  It was a nice day to reflect and enjoy how far we have come.  Took the long walk to the peace bridge and crossed it.   We realized we were not young any more.
On the 31st we went to Prairie Smoke for an amazing  Breakfast and then drove to Elbow Falls.  Apparently the flood of June has totally changed things but we enjoyed it anyway.

Summer vacation JUly 25 2013

Had a wonderful one day vacation to Banff and up the Gondola lift.

Emmanuelle couldn't breathe so Jenny called 911 and Manu went to Children's Hospital.  They came back at 5am.  Croup.  Jenny decided no more rehearsals and took her sick kids home.  Taffy knew Manu was sick and stuck beside her.

flood of the century

Quite a flood.  State of emergency in Calgary.  Korey and Jenny and kids were stranded at our house cuz they couldn't get to the south of Calgary. High River and Nanton were closed highway.  The whole town of High River was flooded.  So sad to see such devastation.  The emergency crews are amazing.

Farewell puppies

My last puppy to go to a new home.
10 puppies have gone in just a few weeks.  IN some ways I am relieved and in need of a break, but always a piece of my heart goes with each baby.
