How does God speak to us?  Gently.
I got to the car from Canadian Tire and noticed a dog leash entwined in the shopping cart.  When i got home I saw that it wasn't listed on the bill so the cashier and I didn't notice it.  What to do? 
Later Bob and I went to Sears and in the process of paying for a new washer, I couldn't find my AMEX.  I remembered the cards dropping out of my wallet at the till in C.T.  back to C.T. and yes they had my card.  I was so grateful.

Now what to do about the leash??  I didn't have it or the bill with me.

My Baby just had babies

Coco whelped 6 puppies today.  She did so well and never complained, but she is pooped.  There is: Rosemary, Curry, Savory, Cumin, Chai and Rummy.  We thought there were only 5 pups until the next morning.  Then there were 6.

Fabric addiction

So I am starting to gather fabric...just like my daughter.  it can be so fun and I just want to order more.  Is that how addiction starts?

Do potting flowers predict rain?

My plants are in the flower box.  They are a gift from Don Francis.  The bare patch is seeded herbs.

Tonight a big storm is forecast and we are on an alert.  Go figure.

Belly fat vs babies

I know I should lose some belly fat.  I tell myself that my life is getting shorter as far as living in a healthy manner is concerned so enjoy who I am and the weight that goes with who I am.  I mean I have carried this around for years and it is always on my mind and body.  Then I say, I could go to weight watchers but there is no way I will stick it thru so that is the devil's advocate speaking.  So then, why don't I get this over with and see what it is like to be where i want to be, weight wise?   It would make for a happier woman in the long run.  So help me God.

Sugar's revenge

Lately, Coco has been getting extra coddling because she is pregnant and so big and slow.  Sugar is missing her to romp with and is a bit jealous.  So, she found my glasses while I was having a nap and did a number on them.  This was on the day that I was worrying about sick little Ebony, the iron quit working flat out, and my sewing machine kicked the bucket.  Frustrated?  Yes.  Oh my freezer has absolutely quit.  Maybe cuz Hermann and Bob dropped it whilst moving it into the new garage room??

prairie home and back

May longweekend was a10 hour trip to Regina to see Debbie and Kaytlin.  The trip was full of memories:  grasshopper splats on the windshield, potholes, ghost towns, Bison and TransX semis, prairie dog holes, antelope, memories of Mom, Dutch elm disease signs, children asking, "How much longer?", blue skies with white fluffy clouds building up for a thunder storm, and coming back home to the mountains.
