Back to goodbye and hello

Just cleaned up from the visit of the Tibbetts and about 10:30 I thought Sugar could be getting ready for whelping.  She was turning her blankets in to a nest.  But this was 2 days early and my pups have never come early.   She presented her first at 12:30 and the other 5 by 3:30.  Beautiful little patched babies 3 boys and 3 girls.  She is a super Mom  So proud of her.

Goodbye and hello

Today, Pippin has gone to Spokane to his new home.  The Tibbetts family was so excited and loved Pippin so much.  That makes me happy.  BUT I will miss him.  He is the last of Coco's babies to go.   Taffy will have some adjusting as well.  We'll do it together.  Brayden really felt the sadness of leaving Taffy without her buddy.   In fact, he encouraged the kids to let Taffy and Pippin share their kennel for one more night.

Sorry Calgary.

We've had some phenomenal storms this summer 2012.  The clouds are ominous and eerie and we wonder if we'll be heading for safety.  For some reason or other, they vent their fury on Calgary. 

How do GKids perceive us?

Can you tell I like purple and sparkle earrings?  This is how Emme perceives me.  She is 6 years old and a good artist.

This is the price of one puppy...$700 paid in 20's  The last puppy sold today.  Don't bother counting.  I know one or two or more 20's have already been pilfered.

Innosence

This sweetheart that is named Emmanuelle is a joy. 

Aunt Deb: "You have ants in your pants Emmanuelle" 

Elle:  "No. that is a wedgie" 

Korey:  "Eat a little more of your hamburger and then you can have dessert."

Elle as she turns in her plate to Jenny:  "Mama,  Daddy said I can't eat beef."

How does God speak to us?  Gently.
I got to the car from Canadian Tire and noticed a dog leash entwined in the shopping cart.  When i got home I saw that it wasn't listed on the bill so the cashier and I didn't notice it.  What to do? 
Later Bob and I went to Sears and in the process of paying for a new washer, I couldn't find my AMEX.  I remembered the cards dropping out of my wallet at the till in C.T.  back to C.T. and yes they had my card.  I was so grateful.

Now what to do about the leash??  I didn't have it or the bill with me.
