Worth the pain?

Claire does not want a picture of her and her arm in a cast. So this is the best I can do. She is so great about using one arm and keeping the sling on.

Urgent Care slowest place on earth

Major event. Claire dislocated her arm. This meant a 4 hour wait at Urgent Care. The doctor had to push the arm and wrist back in to their sockets. Claire is not a friend of doctors anymore

Embroidery by a 5 year old

The day has come when my 5 year old Granddaughter can use the embroidery machine as well as I can. She is completely self sufficient and begs to go and do embroidery.

LeVerne's earns his crown

This morning Leverne slipped in to the presence of the Lord. He wanted so much to go home. He is finally seeing what he has believed for so many years.

Who can resist this boy?

Sometimes I have to stop and look at the little boy who is growing up too fast. He is my youngest Grandbaby, after all. He should stay little, right? I see the face of my son Korey and then I look forward to the man Simon will become. Today, trains are on his mind. I love him so much.

So much sadness

What a start to the new year. In one word...heartache. My friend's daughter who is 34, and has 3 kiddos under 7 years, has been diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. My own daughter is waiting for a biopsy result.
The hardest thing has been the arrest of our good honorable friend, Stuart Seib. Feels like I'm lifting a burden to God all day long. Colin's Grandma de Beaudrap died and the funeral was Jan 13th.
I'm thinking I won't even look at the news or FB tomorrow.
