U Haul blues

A bleak winter day with rain snow and wet roads. K&J arrived in Calgary before the roads got icy. Answered prayer.

SAD DAY

A sad day as Korey and Jenny packed the U Haul and I babysat Simon and sick little Emmanuelle. I was so proud of K&J's parenting skills as they packed. loaded and emptied the Puke bucket. It was like putting aside their personal tiredness and feelings for their family.

This is my home turned into a pooch parlor...grooming table, indoor/outdoor pen, garbage can, play pen for the puppies, kennel for the new mama and her 6 babies. Need more space.

Nothing like learning to build with LEGO when you are a Nana. Bob has always been the LEGO master builder and teacher. This is my first attempt. Fortunately Emmeline knew how to follow instructions. Ha Ha

When you come to Nana's to be babysat, you take a risk.
Here is the pretty dress that Emmanuelle wore to show Nana. Soon she was scrubbing the deck with broom, watering can and shovel. So long pretty dress.

Amazing GGirls

It always amazes me that the 3 GGirls want to come to Nana's to play together.. They have every toy in the book at their homes. Nana just has a big backyard, soccer ball, puppies, and a boring deck where you can find brushes to scrub the drain pipes as Papa pours water into them. Nana has snacks too that are forbidden chocolate. Nana always has cheese sticks and chocolate milk. OH YES.
