Taffy's comeback

Taffy's hat is the one with the missing eyes.  She is teething.

Health aids

I am recovering from the flu.  Whereas I only needed a bathroom and a bed, today i am ready for the other health aids as long as I can enjoy them from the recliner chair:  TV remote, eKindle. phone, cell phone for texting, hot lemon honey tea and the laptop... and the battery flashlight of the evening.

Cut out of the same fabric

Claire stated she was not going to be a Wiseman in the pageant.  She would be a Wisewoman and wear her princess dress and tiara.

Switch-a-roo

deannacarolsmusings.  WHY?  Because my life centers around the dogs.  So, they may as well be one and the same and save myself some work.

5 week old dilemma

OH my goodness, how can I get them all sorted out?  Notice Chai had to take a dive from the top.  Silly boy.  Real food VS. the "real thing"

My Rummy boy

Let me tell you about Rummy.  When the litter is sleeping facing west, he is sleeping alone in some corner facing east.  He will be the last to the party and wonder what is going on or wonder why nobody told him about it.

My Sweetheart

Short nose

I'd say this is a puppy with a short nose.  Darn cute

They don't get any cuter

Eclaire, as named by Claire, is the sweetest of the litter.  She snuggles right in and has the cutest face.  She actually waits by the gate for attention.

Baggy lady

I will always remember the hilarious sight of Coco heading for the great outdoors as she trots thru the front door, down the steps and up the sidewalk away from me as i tried to catch her.  I was barefoot, and trying to be nice as I followed and called her back.  She trots on with a mission to get away from her brood and me.  Her nipples are full of milk and they sway along on this purposeful venture.  Bob finally drove up to her in the car and she responded to his call.

Such sweet sorrow

I do enjoy raising and breeding dogs, but to part with them is such a difficult aspect of the job.
Sugar left me today.  I found it too much of a good thing to have 4 dogs (and it's not even legal), so my dear sweet active Sugar went back to her boss.  I am grateful that I have Coco and Taffy as my own and will not have to part with them unless I choose to.  Soon I will purchase Ashia.  She still needs to warm up to her new surroundings.

This tells it all

The money makes it worth the sadness of my babies leaving me.
The picture of the empty pen almost makes me think of the disciples coming to grave and finding it empty.
Quite an emotion involved with each situation.

Baby blues

Today it is like we lost our baby.  Little Choco went to his new home.  Bob and "Puppy"  were so bonded.  I am sad.  He was a sweetheart all the way.

Inventor at work

Once again my creative husband has been at work.
The puppy pen has a step so the mother can get out without letting the babies escape.  This allows me to sleep thru the night because the mother can take care of her business without me having to get up and take her down the stairs.

The Plexiglas doggy door has protection from the wind and snow when the dog needs to go outside to take care of business.  I can open the lid and do a cleanup, easily.  I am the only one that gets wet.

I love these helpful additions.

Give them all a rest.

The sales associate tried to interest me in buying 2 bras at a great savings.  Her words to me: You really need 2 bras;
Me:  I do?
Her:  You need to give one a rest.
Me:  I would like to give all of mine a rest

The many shades of purple

I love purple but which shade?  Grape, aubergine, wine, lilac, lavender?  I wish the color purple was the color purple.
