Laugh of the day.

This morning as we knelt to say the Lord's prayer, Claire saw that people had their eyes closed, which meant they won't notice shy little her. So she knelt and started with "Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. I will now sing Twinkle Little Star."

Bountiful and ample

He knows my name

I had an unforgetable experience at Collette's dog kennel. She must have 80+ dogs who all have a name. She knows their names and when she calls that particular name, the dog comes running and gets an acknowledgement and a smile. They look so adoringly at their master. Some dogs were in pens for attitude correction, some were being groomed, one can be tied to Collette's waist to be near and be trained and one was in a pen to be trained to be a condo dogs. I felt the spiritual comparison and it brings tears and joy to my heart. Want to give this more thought.

Mother's day tribute.

This is a dolly dress crocheted by my maternal grandmother "Oma" She could hardly speak English, she worked without a pattern, and used the only bits of leftover yarn that she could find. I remember sitting beside her while she crocheted this dress. She did it because she loved me and this was the best she could do.

Snow day

I'm thinking I should take in my sewing machine to get it serviced. It did occur to me that I could start on Christmas projects. Looks like we are getting set up for Christmas in July. It's been snowing for 3 days now.
