Curds and whey...Squeakers (New Bothwell MB cheese) and fresh whole wheat bread. Yes, and mice too. I am a nibbler.

The Tease, Clairi, and I argued over whether the turquoise-colored popcorn was green or blue. She's only 20 months.-

sparkles

Day 2

I love walking by a jewellery store display window and seeing how the special effect lighting makes the jewellery sparkle. Then I wonder why the jewels don't sparkle once I am out of the store. Today Emmeline asked me to make her a necklace with her plastic "pop" beads. After she tried it on and was so happy, I realized that true sparkle is found in the eyes of a child.

winter of life

Day 1
If I ever get this blogging figured out I'll let you know. I am retired in body and mind. I would like to blog to prove to myself that I still think and observe life around me.
Today we (M,E,C and Me) visited the Bay. Clairi found this big sun hat in a bright orange and proceeded to run thru the store to eveyone's amusement. Not bad for a shy little girl in a red velvet dress and bear slippers.
Wish i had a small camera to capture these moments.
